I am so glad there is finally a chow rescue in Illinois!! I am a chow lover and late next year when I get all my ducks in a row, I would like to help rescue and foster, and maybe even help with transporting so I will be getting a hold of you late next year for that. My 12 year old chow "Dusty Rose" passed August 5th and I just adopted another from Independence shelter in Missouri after rescue Renee Lurie picked her up for me so she would not be pts, and she is great her name is "Hope"

Yes! I remember Hope! So glad to know that she is safe and well. Sorry to hear about the passing of your "furbaby," Dusty Rose. She sounds as if she was well loved. It's very hard to lose a member of your family, even if they have four legs. Renee is and awesome advocate and I am working with her aswell. Please feel free to post pictures and give updates anytime. Thanks for posting, Toni, and I look forward to working with you in the future.

Good Luck with your new endeavor, Marie. May the Lord Bless the work you are doing to provide for His creatures. Although I can't help financially, or with fostering, transporting, etc., I will keep you in my prayers.
